under the bridge there is Cakung River (Kali Cakung) near Tugu Church [link] that has a history:

Until the 1960s, Kali Cakung flowing Split Kampung Tugu Cakung still used for bathing. The boats are boarded from Marunda and Fish Market is still moored at the Riverbank. Now, the river was already shallow and Muddy.

Even in the 1940s, people from outside Kampung Tugu many who came to get married in the church monument. Entourage boarded a boat parked in the river bride, just before the church.
